Baljinder is a member of the board of directors. He joined MFFS in 2025.
Baljinder is a corporate lawyer with a strong business background and a deep commitment to community service. As a director at Moving Forward Family Services, he brings strategic insight, leadership experience, and a genuine passion for expanding access to support services across British Columbia.
Baljinder believes that mental health care is a fundamental need. Throughout his life and career, he has seen the toll that untreated mental health challenges can take on individuals, families, and communities. These experiences have shaped his belief in the importance of services that are affordable, inclusive, and easy to access. He is a strong advocate for low barrier counselling that provides support with compassion, dignity, and without stigma.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Simon Fraser University and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. In his legal practice at Bernard LLP, Baljinder works with entrepreneurs, professionals, and growing businesses across British Columbia, guiding them through complex corporate and commercial matters.
In 2025, Baljinder joined the board of Moving Forward Family Services to contribute to its important and evolving work in the mental health space. He is proud to support the organization’s growth and impact through his time, perspective, and commitment.
Outside of work, Baljinder enjoys spending time with his two dogs, a spirited Pomeranian and a loyal German Shepherd, and staying involved in his community.
