It is expected that you will attend appointments on time and will make every effort to advise the counsellor at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make the appointment. A missed appointment without 24 hours advance notice will result in a missed appointment fee and possible discontinuation services.
After calling or emailing Moving Forward, we typically make contact with clients within one week of a referral and make several attempts to reach the client.
If we do not hear back from them after leaving messages with a referred client, we ultimately close the referral. Unfortunately, we often find referred clients do not follow up with our efforts to contact them.
In the unlikely event that, after one week, the client advises no one has contacted them, please ask them to call or text us.
