Cody lives in Victoria, BC; which is the traditional lands of the Lekwungan people. The Lekwungan people occupied the beautiful land where Cody calls home, for over 4000 years before Europeans arrived and colonization processes began.

Cody is one of our talented therapists who truly believes in the evolving science of mental health and therapy. He is incredibly proud of Moving Forward for discovering a way to make therapeutic interventions accessible for everyone. He brings an enthusiasm for learning to the team and has made it his mission to share resources with students who wish to develop their confidence or new skills within the profession of counselling or social work.

If you would like to provide training at Moving Forward Family Services, or if you are an MSW student seeking an practicum site, please reach out to Cody.

Cody is a master trainer of Culturally Adapted-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has received advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). He practices other forms of therapy such as: Single Session Therapy (ONEplus), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Light Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Direct Neurofeedback.
